Mantell Associates is partnered with a Cell Therapy CDMO who are searching for a Supply Chain Manager to join their team on a 12 month contract. This role involves managing GMP and non-inventory materials, ensuring compliance and smooth material flow.
Supply Chain Manager – Responsibilties:
- Verify materials and documentation for quality and compliance with GMP standards, ensuring correct quantities and types are included in each kit
- Verify kitting documents and collaborate with Quality on making any necessary corrections
- Organize kits in a logical and accessible manner to facilitate efficient use during production
- Collaborate with manufacturing operators, procurement, and quality teams to ensure smooth and efficient material flow and kitting processes, with a focus on prioritizing on due dates
- Adhere to GMP protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for kitting
- Ensure kits are handled and transported in a manner that prevents contamination
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding kitting status, inventory needs, and any issues that arise
- Manage non-inventory materials in stock room to minimize waste and ensure timely availability of materials, placing orders or replenishing stock as needed to maintain production schedules
- Perform end of month cycle counts to ensure accuracy and prevent shortages or overstock situations
- Backfill non-inventory materials upon delivery of new orders, following the first-in, first-expiry principle
- Report any quality issues, discrepancies, or non-conformances to supervisors / managers / director for resolution
- Works on special projects / tasks assigned by director
- Assist investigators by providing essential information and records to support their investigation
- Assist other departments to ensure a smooth workflow for material availability and accessibility
- Performs other tasks as assigned
Supply Chain Manager – Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required, with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Experience in GMP Environment: 2-3 years of experience in GMP-regulated settings
- Strong understanding of GMP protocols, SOPs, and regulatory compliance
- Experience in managing non-inventory materials, conducting cycle counts, and replenishing stock
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate material needs/issues clearly
- Accuracy in verifying materials and documentation, preventing contamination, and ensuring compliance
- Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies and non-conformance issues
- Capable of handling materials, cleaning kits, and performing physically demanding tasks
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks, ensuring timely completion of kitting, stocking, and shipping
