Mantell Associate is partnered with a global Pharmaceutical organisation, who are searching for a Regional Sales Manager focused on South Eastern Europe.
Regional Sales Manager – Responsibilities:
- Drive the profitable growth of the European region, with a current focus on South Eastern Europe, and ensure the achievement of annual targets by leading, inspiring, and empowering local teams, and collaborating closely with departments at the headquarter
- Develop a multi-year sales and growth strategy for the markets in the region together with the Head of Sales and implement it successfully step by step through your proactive efforts
- Advance the development of our business by regularly creating investment/business plans for existing and new markets
- Monitor the success of your action plans in monthly business reviews and adjust them as needed in consultation with the Head of Sales and Chief Revenue Officer
- Get to know the markets through monthly travels and maintain or further develop strong partnerships with local teams, business partners, doctors, and pharmacies
- Ensure that local teams understand the unique selling points (USPs) of the brand and products and actively drive their marketing
- Act as a point of contact, link and role model between associated departments such as Marketing, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Supply Chain, and international business partners
- Take ownership of the annual budget planning and actively support administrative activities in sales
- Analyze, monitor, and consistently improve internal processes with the aim of creating access to healing, meeting the needs of our customers, and achieving greater market success
- Foster respectful collaboration with different cultures and people
Regional Sales Manager – Requirements:
- A successfully completed degree (Master’s equivalent) in pharmacy, medicine, healthcare, biology or business administration, international management or a comparable qualification. Training as a pharmaceutical sales representative is an advantage
- Several years of successfully proven experience in sales and product launches, ideally of pharmaceutical products or food supplements in dynamic markets
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken German and English
- Desire and pleasure in travelling to international sales regions (approx. 30%) and ‘spirit of adventure’
- Strong intercultural skills (developed e.g. through longer stays abroad) and enjoy getting to know a wide variety of people and cultures
- A forward-looking and commercial mindset as well as a good dose of flexibility
- The drive to tackle issues independently and efficiently and to improve through strong self-motivation
- A strong customer focus and sales mentality
- The desire to proactively develop personally and be part of a strong team
