Mantell Associates is partnered with a Consulting organisation who is seeking a skilled Project Manager of Research and Development to lead a dynamic R&D department.
Project Manager – R&D – Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of talented scientists and researchers, providing guidance and support
- Lead the planning and execution of research and development projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Drive innovation and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the R&D processes
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality control, and regulatory affairs, to ensure seamless coordination and successful project outcomes
- Stay updated on industry trends, scientific advancements, and regulatory requirements to drive continuous improvement and maintain compliance
- Foster a culture of scientific excellence, encouraging collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional development within the R&D team
- Manage relationships with clients and provide technical expertise during project discussions and presentations
Project Manager – R&D – Responsibilities:
- A degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field
- Leadership skills to drive innovation and manage a talented team
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a pharmaceutical R&D environment
- Familiarity with cGMP regulations and guidelines
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage timelines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external clients
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a culture of scientific excellence and continuous improvement
- Proficiency in using scientific software and analytical tools
