Mantell Associates is partnered with a leading Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company, committed to enhancing health and improving lives globally. They are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure product quality, efficiency, and compliance.
Based in Southern Ireland, you will be a key player in driving continuous improvement, supporting production, and innovating within state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.
Process Engineer – Responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize existing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in production, quality, and engineering to implement process improvements and resolve issues
- Develop and validate new manufacturing processes, ensuring regulatory and safety compliance
- Conduct risk assessments, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot issues related to equipment, materials, and process parameters
- Document and maintain all process-related information, including SOPs and technical reports
- Support process scale-up, technology transfer, and commissioning of new equipment and production lines
Process Engineer – Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a process engineering role, within the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and regulatory guidelines
- Problem-solving mindset with a track record of implementing successful process improvements
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in process simulation software and statistical analysis tools is a plus
