Mantell Associates is exclusively partnered with a Cell Therapy CDMO in their search for a Logistics Associate to join their growing team.
Logistics Associate – Responsibilities:
- Involved in strategies to optimize material flow and inventory control processes across the organization
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and robust inventory management systems
- Involved in all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, kitting, and shipping to ensure efficiency and accuracy
- Maintain strong cross-functional relationships with manufacturing, procurement, planning, and logistics teams to ensure alignment on business goals
- Champion a culture of collaboration and proactive communication to resolve warehouse and logistics challenges effectively
- Apply operational excellence principles (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce waste
- Be part of a high-performing team, contributing to a culture of accountability, innovation, and professional growth
Logistics Associate – Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in scientific or engineering discipline
- Graduate studies and/or certification in supply chain management is a plus
- Strong experience in logistics, material control, and warehouse operations
- Experience in a GMP biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment; Cell Therapy (preferred) or large molecule CDMOs
- Proven track record in warehouse operations
- Working knowledge of operational excellence methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate across functions
- Broad understanding of GMP quality systems and procedures
- On-site presence is required to facilitate real-time collaboration and ensure operational effectiveness
