Mantell Associates is currently partnered with a Global CDMO in their search for a IT Systems Administrator to join their growing team.
IT Systems Administrator – Responsibilities:
- Managing, monitoring, and optimizing IT systems, servers, and network infrastructure to ensure operational efficiency
- Supporting and maintaining a secure and reliable IT environment, including hardware, software, and network components
- Implementing and overseeing regular backups, disaster recovery processes, and data protection protocols
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across systems and providing prompt support to end-users within the organization
- Administering virtualization and cloud-based technologies to ensure high availability and system scalability
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain IT solutions that align with business objectives and regulatory compliance
- Conducting regular software updates, patches, and security enhancements to protect the organization from cyber threats
- Preparing and maintaining system documentation, including network diagrams, configuration setups, and disaster recovery plans.
IT Systems Administrator – Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT System Administrator, preferably in a regulated environment (CDMO or similar).
- Strong hands-on knowledge of server management, network administration, and database management.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V.
- Solid understanding of security best practices, data privacy regulations, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and macOS environments, with proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, growing environment.
