As a Global Project Controls Consultant, you will be the cornerstone of their capital project delivery team, ensuring robust planning, control, and governance across an expansive portfolio. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will provide strategic oversight, identify risks, and drive cost efficiency while maintaining project timelines and quality standards.
Global Project Controls Consultant – Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Management: Oversee and monitor a multi-billion-dollar CAPEX portfolio comprising multiple complex projects globally
- Project Controls: Develop and implement comprehensive project controls strategies, including cost estimation, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and performance tracking
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in project controls processes, leveraging best practices and innovative tools
- Governance & Reporting: Establish reporting structures to ensure transparency and accountability across all projects. Provide stakeholders with regular updates on progress, risks, and mitigations
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and finance teams to align project goals with organizational objectives
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks and implement proactive solutions to avoid cost overruns and delays
Global Project Controls Consultant – Requirements:
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in project controls within large-scale CAPEX environments, preferably in the pharmaceutical or related industries
- Expertise: Proven ability to manage large, complex portfolios with a strong understanding of cost control, scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project), and risk management frameworks
- Global Perspective: Experience working on international projects with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Leadership: Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
