Mantell Associates is partnered with an innovative organisation who are seeking an Electrical Schematic to join their team.

 

Electrical Schematic – Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and update electrical schematics for refrigeration appliances (household refrigerators and freezers)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (cabling, hardware, components, etc)  
  • Develop and maintain component libraries, including electrical parts, wiring, and connectors in design software 
  • Ensure schematics are compliant with industry standards and regulations (IEC, UL, etc.)
  • Conduct detailed electrical analysis and validation of designs
  • Participate in design reviews and collaborate with other engineers to resolve design issues
  • Create and manage documentation related to electrical designs, including bills of materials (BOM), wiring diagrams, and harness layouts
  • Support Cabling Design and assembly teams with clear and precise electrical documentation

 

Electrical Schematic – Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Technical degree in Electronics, Mechatronics or Electrical related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical schematic design 
  • Proficiency in electrical schematics design software (Zuken E3.series, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar tools)
  • Understand cabling design and layout for complex systems
  • Strong understanding of electrical components, wiring, connectors, and standards related to refrigeration appliances
  • Experience creating and managing component libraries in schematic design software
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Familiarity with embedded systems and control boards used in refrigerators/freezers (preferred)
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes for electrical components and wiring harnesses (preferred)
  • Fluent German and intermediate English level (preferred)
