Mantell Associates is partnered with a leading Cell Therapy CDMO, who is seeking a Director of Supply Chain & Procurement.
Director of Supply Chain & Procurement – Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement supply chain and procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals, focused on scalability, cost-efficiency, and compliance
- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with critical suppliers, ensuring quality and supply continuity
- Operations & Planning: Oversee demand planning, inventory management, and logistics, optimizing resources to meet production timelines
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and R&D, to align supply chain operations with project goals
Director of Supply Chain & Procurement – Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, ideally within the biopharma or CDMO sector
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements in cell therapy or similar industries
- Strong negotiation skills, analytical mindset, and expertise in ERP systems
