Mantell Associates is partnered with a Biotech based in the EU, who are searching for a Director of Clinical Development on a Consultancy basis.
Director of Clinical Development, Consultant – Responsibilities:
- Analyze scientific data (e.g., development strategies, critical success factors, patient selection criteria, and endpoints) to shape and refine clinical strategies
- Leverage insights to develop innovative clinical studies aligned with organizational goals
- Create study outlines, synopses, and collaborate with clinical operations to develop protocols, focusing on CNS disorders as a subject matter expert
- Support protocol development outside of CNS disorders based on broad clinical research experience within drug development
- Act as the primary liaison with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and other experts in clinical research, medical science, and therapeutic fields
- Foster collaboration with the scientific community to ensure alignment with clinical objectives
- Engage and collaborate with non-medical stakeholders, including investors, journalists, and other external partners, to communicate clinical progress effectively
- Represent the organization’s clinical and scientific interests to promote transparency and stakeholder engagement
- Provide medical expertise and leadership in clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety requirements
- Oversee pharmacovigilance activities to guarantee patient safety and adherence to safety regulations
- Contribute to the strategic development of the company’s drug candidates by aligning clinical and business strategies
- Work closely with leadership to ensure clinical programs support long-term organizational goals
Director of Clinical Development, Consultant – Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) with extensive experience in CNS disorders
- Expertise in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases
