Mantell Associates is partnered with a pioneering Pharmaceutical organisation in their search for a CDMO Manager.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for managing relationships with CDMOs, overseeing project timelines, ensuring quality compliance, and driving successful product development and production. 

 

CDMO Manager – Responsibilities:

  • Project Timeliness: Measure the adherence to project timelines for contract development manufacturing projects
  • Quality Metrics: Track key quality indicators such as defect rates, batch rejections, and adherence to GMP guidelines
  • Cost Control: Monitor and optimize manufacturing costs to ensure projects are delivered within budget
  • Client Satisfaction: Evaluate client feedback and satisfaction levels with the contract development manufacturing services provided
  • Production Efficiency: Measure production efficiency through metrics like cycle times, downtime, and resource utilization
  • Supplier Performance: Assess the performance of contract development partners based on delivery, quality, and communication
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Monitor and implement improvements in manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality
  • Innovation Index: Measure the introduction of new technologies or processes to drive innovation in contract development manufacturing

 

CDMO Manager – Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, advanced degree preferred
  • Proven experience in contract development manufacturing within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, GMP guidelines, and quality assurance practices
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead complex manufacturing projects from initiation to completion
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to pharmaceutical manufacturing
